Parents Without Partners, International, Inc., (also known as PWP),
is an international, non-profit, organization devoted to the welfare and interests of
single parents/grandparents and their children.

A meeting of 25 single parents in Manhattan in 1957 marked the beginning of PWP,
which now has thousands of members in hundreds of chapters in the United States, Canada,
and several other countries. 

Whether you have custody of your children or not, or even if they are grown,
you are deeply concerned with their future and with your responsibilities as a parent. 
Single parents and their children have unique and very special needs. 
PWP recognizes and aids in the meetings of those needs.

PWP forges and reinforces a common bond between all single parents by working together,
exchanging ideas and promoting mutual understanding, help and companionship
through a myriad of educational, family, and parent activities.

PWP also stands for Pretty Wonderful People!
